I am teaching a sock class on Thursdays, in three sessions.
Class starts Oct 27th 10 am - noon. If you can’t make the classes consecutively, you can schedule a make up class within the week, prior to the next class.
Part 1. Measuring foot to determine sock size. Swatch. Cast on for sock, cuff down. Knit to heel.
Part 2. Deciding heel width. Deciding heel flap length. Turning the heel. Discussing various heel flap designs.
Part 3. Toe decreases. Kitchener stitch. Discussing ways to further personalize your socks.
Class cost is $20.00 per session, you can pay as you go.
Supplies needed (not supplied)
US size 3-4 40" circular needle
1 skein of a sport weight sock yarn
Tape Measure
Darning needle

Spinning Classes will be held each Saturday on a first come, first serve basis. The class is taught one on one and is quite popular so book in advance to avoid disappointment. I will take you from drafting to the drop spindle to the spinning wheel at your pace. You will get the opportunity to try a number of different fibers as well as a single and double treadle spinning wheel.
